    it would take quite awhile to lose 30 pounds safely.

    pilates, yoga and dancing are all fun workouts.

    eating healthy will help a lot, too.

    drink a lot of water.

    take your vitamins.

    so i wouldn’t suggest tons of work out but some

    just get into a sport..
    like
    soccer
    football
    softball
    trak ( or just running with a friend or alone )
    lots more

    or if your me
    dance
    tumbling
    cheer

    drink lots of water keep a maintained diet, and also take vitiamens!

    lots more stuff and i bet you wont need to work out your 13.. good luck though

    the reason why i wouldn’t suggest A ton SOME work outs is because if you do them wrong you can injure your self

    if you like no sports
    you can always do
    DdR ( dee dee are ) jk jk ( dance dance reveloution )
    the wii ( i don’t know if it does, but its interactive not really used to the wii dont own one )

    dont have diet pills worst idea OF Course when your 13!!! Also never go aneroxic or the throw up one! i did and it nearly killed me when i was 6 i had really really high blood pressure now i haveback problems for my life.

    belly dancing. you can on youtube and type in learn to belly dance and they have instructors..i used to do them all the time :D

    also cut down on sugar, soda and white bread

    Umm….. I guess you can try to eat less but for fun work outs I don’t know any… Try playing sports or running around.

    Hmm I Too Need To Loose SOme Weight And I Think The Best Thing Too Do Is Walking Or Running Go To The Mall ANd Walk Around For A Few Hours lol Thats Fun And Has A Lot Of Walking..Or Go Run Around The School Track With Some Friends After School.

    yeah, um it depends on what you mean by fast.
    if you take smaller potions of food at meals that’ll help a little.
    but to loose 30 pounds you practically do have to work out.

    You can make running fun, bike rides and roller blading are fun and EFFECTIVE and so is swimming like the funnest one of them all. And remember to eat healthy. Cut out all junk food and salt, sodium, saturated fats, and cut down on breads and other carbs.

    Well…a diet is forever. You can’t just lose the weight, go back to your previous eating habits, and expect to keep it off. There is not HEALTHY way to lose weight very soon. You will lose a lot at first, but then you will hit plateaus. Try Weight Watchers…I lost 50 lbs and it taught me how to eat healthy. I have kept it off with diet and exercise. If you try to starve yourself, your body will go into shut-down mode and store fat…so you are doing more harm than good. If you hate to work out (like me), get over it. That is an important thing to do. I bike ride, hunt, fish, horseback ride…I am a pretty outdoorsy person compared to most girls. When I ride my bike, I ride a minimum of 12 miles each time…which is pretty frequent.

    well…
    i lost around 10 pounds in one month by just drinking nothing but water when i moved to nebraska…
    my cousins had no soda so all i drank was water.
    i ate normally, ate what i wanted and worked out like 30 minutes 3 times a week,
    i gave up only soda and lost alot of weight.
    i drank nothing but water..no juice no soda just water.
    it worked for me it’ll work for you.

    Umm…. Idk, Green Tea, and Bran Muffins? Lol! But really though, that’s a good hypotheses ^_^ Since you’re 13, you should start on a workout that will have you slim and toned by the tyme you’re in HS. You shouldn’t be too stressed about looks any way. But for health’s sake, take the dieting slow. Eat your green vegetables, lay off the soda pops, drink more water, and eat more whole foods (not fried). Then you should be good. Good luck!

    Your best bet is to find someone to work out with. That way you can enjoy your time. Or listen to some toons. Change your diet as well. Lower your calorie intake, watch what food s you eat. Um…but it should take you something like 8 weeks ish to lose 30 pounds safely and even then you are pushing it. Good luck, i need to do the same myself (about 32 pounds). I’ve started changing my diet and excercising more. Set up a plan for yourself. Like when you get home from school you, go for a walk or something and rock out with your ipod. Then you grab a light snack and do your homework. ITs really hard but i wish you the best of luck.

    Alright missy.
    There is NO “quick” weight loss.
    You have to change your lifestyle.

    I will give you some good tips, though.
    You need to start exercising! No matter how much you hate it.
    Just do PE, or pick up a sport in school. I’m sure you like some sports.

    If you are 5′3″ you should never weigh under 100 pounds. It isn’t very healthy for you!

    The next things you should do are quit drinking soda. I lost 10 pounds in one year when I stopped drinking soda every day.
    Try eating at least 3 fruits a day, and 2 vegetables.
    Use less butter when you eat, and only let yourself eat candy one time a day (or less! but I eat chocolate all the time… )

    You should also know that you are going to GROW a lot in the next few years, so don’t worry about numbers!
    Just worry about being active, and eating right.
    Drink water, too!

    It’s more important to be healthy.

    um, look, at 13, i wanted to lose 50 pounds. really. but what you should really do, and i know youre probably not going to like this, but that i wish someboudy wouldve told me: you are beautiful just as you are. REALLY! first thing you have to do, is realize that 30 pounds extremely quickly without exercising is highly impossible. first things first, look ta yourself in the mirror and find ONE positive thing about the body part you want to be smaller. secondly, realize that you can BETTER youself by becoming healthier and feeling better, physically AND emotionally. next, id suggest speaking to your mom about taking a workout information class at the gym – it wont be anything really hard and its mostly once a week. most gyms offer it ,and the bright side is that you can learn which weights to use and what you can do do improve different muscles and parts of your body. best part of all, after you finish the program you can go to the areas for only 16s and older. i did this and its really good- you can even teach yourself to do some exercises at home! it doesn treally need to be that boring- put on some fun music and just dance while doing them, if yo uwant. these programs also let you make friends who share the same goals as you. finally, try to eat lots of fruits and vegetables – youd be surprised how good and filling apples and oranges can be!

    there are workouts you can buy on dvd that use dancing as a workout and it’s fun i do those and use the balacne ball workouts for better toning

    quick dieting does not work and can damage you as well as make you gain double the weight that you are trying to lose. First of you need to determine your BMI. You may not need to lose that much weight. You need to monitor your diet and make sure you are eating healthy portions of food. You also need to make sure your body is hydrated so it can flush out fat and natural waste of the body. You may want to make sure all carbohydrates that you consume are high grain/high fiber to help your body cleanse itself. I would suggest for exercise that you try to take up dance, swimming, martial arts such as karate or taekwondo or hiking. You are young and still growing so being chunky is okay at this stage in your life because you never know when you are going to have a growth spurt and thin out naturally. Watch out for the sodas because they can be high in sugar and bad at striping your body of calcium. If you feel that your eating is more due to a need to keep yourself occupied, you may want to talk to a counselor or psychologist that can help you mend the reasons that why you might be overeating if that is the case.
