Here’swhat reallly works: Have Kellogg’s Special K 3 times a day for b’fast,Lunch and dinner. It is filling, nutritious, and yummy.
If you find it bland, add little bits of muesli, choc-chip wheatabix etc. (dont overdo it as you will raise the calorie content) get a kitchen weighing scale. so you monitor how much you are eating. You dont have to start it straightaway start with bfast, then lunch and dinner.
you could add some sugar. too…
I has worked for me… i love it altho i hate milk but it’s nice
I think it’sbetter than any stupid fad diets available.
Try it, dont lose hope,, you might not see results straightaway… so give it some time.
I lost approximately 40 lbs in 3 months. I switched to a high fiber diet. I started with a high fiber cereal like fiber one, at a decent lunch, and had a reasonable dinner. I also started lifting weights 3 times a week, and did some cardio twice a week.
You really need to change your philosophy on approaching meals. Instead of trying to eat until you are full, eat slowly and just eat until you are no longer hungry. It’s important to listen to your body.
On a contradictory note, losing weight was also unpleasant because I was hungry a lot. Especially at night. I made sure though that I did not eat 4-5 hours before I went to bed.
With the combination of weight training, cardio and diet I went from 25-28% body fat to 12%, dropping in weight from 218 lbs to 178. Hope that helps.
I’ve never lost that much weight but don’t follow gimmicks. Cut out junk food, fast food, fried foods and soda (even diet). Drink water and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and several small meals. Don’t shop for food when hungry and don’t lie to yourself you know what’s healthy and what’s not.
Most importantly exercise everyday. Do little things like take the stairs and don’t take close parking spots.
Learn to cook with different spices. It adds taste without the calories.
