lots of sex, if that doesnt work remember to count your calorie intake and calorie burn, sit ups will help your tummy but not very much, running or stair climbing will really help your middle area.

Sit ups and walking. Well be able to lose it a lot faster if you do it more then twice a week tho. Really dont even need a gym. Sit up you can do at home and Walking can be done around your house depending on where you live

cardio, cardio, cardio!!!!!!!!!! crunches crunches crunches for the belly! worry about weights later to get you toned. cardio helps the weight fall off! you need to sweat, the more you do, the better. but drink TONS of water! :)

sit ups & crunches are quite effective. Try the treadmill and bike machines to burn calories. Stay away from the late nite snacks too.

sit ups and squats r fine 4 toning, but in order 2 see the results u wil also need 2 burn sum fat. do some running and maybe a cross trainer as this will burn the calories and make u lose some fat. walk as much as u can aswell. u will soon see the difference :) x

In order to burn the extra fat and lose weight, one must do cardio (getting the heart pumping but to safe pace) such as walking, treadmill, elliptical as opposed to ‘just’ toning exercises such as stomach crunches. Please do ask a personal trainer about how to safely use any of the equipment and perhaps some toning exercises as well.

Please do make sure that drink plenty of fluids, namely water but way too much can be dangerous too :) ‘Water intoxication’ is when the person drinks an inordinate amount of water in a short period of time and has swelling of body tissue including the brain:

A good gym will provide you with a targeted programme when you had your induction did they not offer one? You need a good mixture of machines to provide the sort of tone up you are looking for. You can do some stomach crunches every day at home to help speed things up or the weighted hoola hoop looks fun.

    and ciclette!

Sit ups are next to worthless, IMHO. For what it’s worth, I was a Marine and at one time could do 80+ sit ups in two minutes (my record was 101 in 2 min.), and they never did a darn thing for me except make me better at doing sit ups. The key point about sit ups is that they are a TONING exercise. They do almost NOTHING to reduce the amount of fat that collects on top of the muscles.

The best way to lose fat is to increase your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR). Cardio increases your RMR a little, but it slows right back down a few hours after you get off the treadmill. Free weights will get it up and keep it up for 3 to 4 days, which means you’ll be burning more fat even while you’re sitting at the computer or sleeping. Don’t bother with the machines; nautilus machines stabilize everything for you except the one muscle they’re designed to exercise.

Most people think of weight lifting as arm and chest exercise, but it actually works everything because you have to maintain balance throughout the exercise.

My favorite core toning exercise is to take a small barbell (not even 50 pounds – you could use dumbells too) and, from a standing position, hold it at waist level. I then curl it up to my chin, then raise it over my head – hold – then lower back through those steps.

The elliptical. Target areas: lower abdominal, hips, buttocks and thighs

I belong to LA Fitness and I must say the elliptical is a great tool to drop weight quickly.
