800 calories is not enough to keep your body stable. You should be in the 1300-1400 calorie a day range. If weight lose is that important, what fills your entire day that is that much more important that you can not exercise for 30 minutes? Park further away from the door at work, take the stairs instead of elevator, walk in place while you watch TV, etc. Do not skip breakfast and eat small snacks between meals so you are not so hungry at meal time.
wow ! 800 cals a day is less than a bird eats . if its working for you and you feel healthy than stick with it . i know you are very busy but im sure you can find time for the proper kind of exercise , if you know what i mean .
You’re going to screw yourself up if you try living on only 800 calories a day. Get it up to at LEAST 1200, preferably around 1600-1800, or you’ll wind up not only throwing your metabolism out of whack and making it harder to lose weight in the long run, but you’ll also make yourself sick. Malnutrition is nothing to fool around with.
A caloric intake of only 800 is extremely unhealthy. A woman should be having a minimum of 2000 per day. This will be very detrimental to your health in the short term and in the long term if this kind of diet continues. I’d strongly advise you to consider eating a normal amount, and instead use regular exercise to lose fat.
An 800 calorie diet will not be healthy long term. Your body needs calories just to get through the day, not including exercising. Right now it is a shock to your system and that’s why you are losing, eventually your body will learn that it is only getting 800 calories and will start to hold on to those few, in turn you will hit a plateau and not lose anymore weight. You will also be extremely fatigued, and will most likely experience other symptoms. Remember an average woman needs at minimum 1200 calories for regular day to day activities, anything less will put your body in starvation mode. You should try to figure out how many calories you were taking in before and cut back on that, or I know some websites have calculators to help you figure out how many calories you need to eat to maintain and to lose. has a calculator there.

Continue to eat around the same amount of calories, but if you eat them in 5 to 6 small meals a day it will keep up your metabolism.
800 calories is not enough. Your body will try to turn everything it can into fat, and you won’t lose the fat you already have.
You should be eating at LEAST 1200 calories, probably more for your size.
Everybody can fit exercise in – you can do it at your desk.
You are making sure, by eating only 800 calories, that you will have a weight problem forever.
Don’t do it dumb – listen to people.
Considering the average person needs 2000, I would say so. Try exercising.
