I think that she would definaly look better in photos. Duh. No double chin, shaples body and her facial features will come out and be way more defined. SHe will get more confidence and therefore look better too.
I think that she prob wont get down to 100 but my freind is 5′2 and is 105 and looks great. so she should just diet until she likes the way she looks.

Maybe not 100lbs. That might be too much. If she lost it in a healthy way I think 60 to at the most 80 might do the trick. I also think ‘pretty’ is subjective. I have a friend who I hadn’t seen in years and lost 70lbs(5′6″ 220to 150). I don’t think looked much different in the face but she does feel better about herself and has been able to enjoy life a lot more in many ways. Not to mention she is healthier now.

200 pounds and she’s skinny? That sounds strange. Are you sure she is 200 pounds? Well if you see her, and she looks like she is healthy, than i don’t think she should lose weight..but a 5′3 woman should probably weigh like 120-140. I don’t know where all that weight is coming from.

Really depends on her frame. My mom is 5-1 and never hit 100 lbs, exept maybe during preggos.

I know some chix in their 20’s that are like 85-90 lbs. They look fine, really. Not sickly like the old Kate Moss pics or the like.
Not everyone light in weight looks anerexic. Think of Asian people. Many are very slim, but not boney.
Also, tell your friend to measure her progress with a mirror and a tape/ruler, not a scale.
You can look fat regardless of your wieght.
For instance, I am slim, but I actually wheigh more than some people who are much fatter than me. Weight is the least important part of health. It is your fat ratio that should be closely regulated.
