<p>My goals weight is: 140 lbs.</p>
<p>I eat good meal choices but my snacks are the killers, I need an exercise program that will help me tone and trim down. I have a treadmill at home, it only has a level 2 incline on it and I enjoy power walking on it. I also have an exercise ball, a small bally ball for crunches and a total gym as well as 2 lbs free weights.</p>
<p>Does anyone know of a good program that I can stick to that will allow me to get to my goal weight in a year. I think I could lose 50 lbs in a year if I really work at it. Does that sound feasible? </p>
<p>Also, what should my caloric intake be if I want to lose an average of 1 to 2 lbs a week? and how  much should I be working out during the week?<br/><br/></div>

Also, just so you know the &#8220;program&#8221; I&#8217;m talking about, is one I&#8217;m setting up myself. I know about 6 times more about weightloss than I probably need to know, so I&#8217;ll definately lose the weight. I&#8217;ve just had trouble applying it, because I&#8217;ve been too hard on myself. I go to the gym and walk my dog everyday. I&#8217;m going to figure out all my favourite foods and figure out a healthy way to eat them.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m really flattered by all your answers. I&#8217;m actually 202 pounds! My goal weight is 130 pounds. That still seems kinda heavy to me, but we&#8217;ll see.</p>
<p>And yes I will keep you guys updated if you want. Just let me know, and I&#8217;ll send you the results. Everyone loves a success story lol =)<br/><br/></div>

I just recently made the decison to start a new fresh healthy life style.  i began dieting a little over a week ago and have dropped about 8-9 pounds.  my current weight is 158. i need to add exercise to my weightloss program but i have two problems:</p>
<p>1. i have very little time.  i am a full time college student and i work after school until 8 pm. </p>
<p>2. i am very out of shape.  i havent had good exercise since i was maybe 10 years old due to a heart condition that made me get palpitations  when i ran too hard.  i got it repaired in 2003 at the age of 14 and i&#8217;ve gained a lot of weight since the surgery.  i also have asthma.</p>
<p>when i run i feel like i dont get oxygen to my legs and i get weak feeling (i&#8217;m perfectly healthy now btw, just out of shape) and sometimes get a cold icy feeling in my chest.</p>
<p>i know i have to just push through the pain to build stamina but it seems like an impossible idea.</p>
<p>i dream of running miles.<br />
my question? </p>
<p>how do i start something positive in my life.</p>
