What is a good workout plan to lose approximately 50lbs?
I’m 6′0 male and about 255lbs at 16 years old. The last time I took a BMI test said I had about 47% body fat. My height actually helped me so I’m not really wide. I rarely eat junk food. I cook nearly everyday. My family is Fil-Am, so we eat a lot of rice. I’m guessing the oily foods we cook and rice we eat are the main source of my problem, besides my lack of excercise? Haha! Anyways, a lot of fat is around my stomach, thighs, and arm areas. There isn’t a set date or time that I have to lose the weight but I wish to accomplish it by July or even August 2010. The earlier, the better. I’m willing and committed to using any schedule that will help me accomplish my weightloss goals. These are my goals:
1. Lose approximately 50lbs (or even more! I’d deeply appreciate it)
2. Lower my BMI/body fat to 23%
3. Maintain a ‘normal’ and proper weight for my height.
Why the specific BMI? I’m looking forward in getting a commission in the US Navy. Academically, I can easily get in. Physically, I would be denied or be medically discharged in a snap. I know from 47% to 23% is A LOT of work but like I said, I’m really willing to lose this weight.
If the workout plan that any of you suggest requires an adjustment in my eating habits, then I’m willing to change it. I have weights and a treadmill inside my home, so any workouts including those are a big help to me. I am willing to sacrifice many “good-eats” for the weight loss. I really want this commission and I really want to lose this weight. I do not believe in diet pills. My apologies if that was a suggestion but I’m not interested in pills. I’m looking forward in losing the weight myself, not with a gym. Other than that, any suggestions and plans would be deeply appreciated!

Hi, I’m 15, and I need a weight loss solution. It’s beginning February. So If i start a weightloss program, i am hoping to lose 30lbs and possibly more by MAY
If I use Acai Berry, could I accomplish my goal?
I dont have a treadmill or anything to excercise with. Every night I do 50 of 5 different kinds of crunches. So that’s 250.
Can someone explain to me what the AcaiBerry jar contains? Is it berries, or a pill?
Does it really work?

treadmill?
I am thinking about getting a treadmill to put in my bedroom in hopes of losing some weight. My questions are…..is this a good thing to do for weightloss? How long do I need to stay on it for a good effect? How often should I walk on it? I am currently about 50 lbs overweight so I really need something that I can do that will help me lose weight without over doing it (excercise induced asthma and other problems). I was thinking treadmill would be good and maybe doing it about 1 hr every day, would that make a difference on my body. I am already working on my eating habits and cutting back on my carbs (PCOS sufferer). Any advice would be great.
Ready to lose weight, need help?

I am finally set on losing weight and I am needing help from people who have more knowledge that I obviously do. I am at 375lbs., 5′5″ female, morbidly obese. I have started walking briskly 1 mile at a local track every other day, eating Multi Grain Cheerios for b’fast, lunch consists of really lean peppercorn sliced turkey breast, celery, baby carrots, & grapes or Salad from Wendy’s w/Ranch, and for dinner a lean meat baked or grilled with veggies and if I need a snack I am eating 120 cal. fiber one bars (once a day). I am not enjoying this food AT ALL, but feel like it is a necessity to suffer to lose this weight. I just want some suggestions on food varieties that would be good for me. I am at the point in my life at 28 that I want to feel better and want to live and at this point, luckily, I don’t have any known medical problems as of yet other than the obesity.
I also want help on how much exercising I should be doing at the beginning of this and what exercises I should be doing? I am clueless. I have a great treadmill w/weights, but I don’t know when or how much of the weights I should be using or how hard really I should be pushing my body. I am an avid “Biggest Loser” watcher and see them pushing themselves to puking and I am nowhere near that point so should I be walking 2 miles? 1 mile feels like my feet/legs are going to fall off, should I push it? I just want to know where a 375lb female should start with a weightloss program that will prove to help and provide enough weightloss that I will be motivated to push on and keep on with it.
PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!!! Any advice at all would be great, I would seek professional help, but that really is not within my budget at this point in my life and I need help from real people who have been through this!! Also, please keep in mind w/recipes I only have a local Walmart to purchase items and most recipes tend to have products that I cannot get, especially with many fresh herbs, etc.
Thanks for all of your help! I cannot wait for responses!
