SayITasITis! asked:

At my gym there are many personal trainers and it seems that most of them have done basic courses to be qualified to do the job and how effective they are or what they know baffles me as they all seem to differ from trainer to trainer and gym to gym.

Are there any books in the UK ideally and maybe any websites that you have read that give legitimate and concrete advice and information on the following topics please:

Fitness/Exercise: Such as interval training and cardio, their differences to their uses to how to do them and how to incorporate them all into a program.

Weightloss: From atkins to low carbs to low GI etc

Weight-training: For fat burn/weightloss to building muscle etc

Ofcourse all for beginners to advanced levels please.

The books ive read so far or websites that I feel give great information are:

Food doctor diet and some general websites only.

Thank you x
Thank you Ella, However nutrition is only one aspect of my question (even though I forgot to list it) therefore can anyone else please answer the other parts.

Thanks x
